TAFERO 25MG TABLET contains Tenofovir alafenamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-viral drugs. It is used to treat chronic (long-term) hepatitis B infection in adolescents and adults (aged 12 years and older). Hepatitis B is a virus that infects the liver, causes long-term infection, and can result in liver damage. It can show symptoms like easy tiredness, anxiety, lack of appetite, jaundice, fits and vomiting.  

Before taking TAFERO 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease, hepatitis C or D (viral liver infection), HIV infection, intolerance to some sugars. TAFERO 25MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

TAFERO EM 200/25MG TABLET is a combination of Tenofovir alafenamide and Emtricitabine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiretroviral drugs. It is used in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and older) along with other medicines to treat human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1) infection.

It can also be used to reduce the risk of getting HIV infection in adult and adolescent men who have intercourse with men. HIV targets the immune system and weakens your defence against many infections that people with healthy immune systems can fight off.

As the virus destroys and impairs the function of immune cells, infected individuals gradually become immunodeficient and reach the most advanced stage of HIV infection called Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
